FreeSBIE is a LiveCD based on the FreeBSD Operating system, or even easier, a FreeBSD-based operating system that works directly from a CD, without touching your hard drive.

However it is not just a LiveCD as it gives the option to install to hard drive should you choose to do so. It is an excellent way to try out FreeBSD on your system before committing to full HDD install.
