OpenBSD is a FREE , multi-platform 4.4BSD-based UNIX-like operating system. Its efforts emphasize portability, standardization, correctness, proactive security and integrated cryptography. OpenBSD supports binary emulation of most programs from SVR4 (Solaris), FreeBSD, Linux, BSD/OS, SunOS and HP-UX.

The OpenBSD team does not offer a downloadable ISO CD-ROM image of the operating system. However, they do allow third parties to create and ISO image and offer it, but it must have a different layout than the "official one".

This is a third party ISO image which has a different layout than the official one. This ISO was created from the free FTP version. The CD created is Bootable. The installation instructions can be found at http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq4.html
